Nikicio proudly introduced their latest collection in a private fashion show; Nikicio Mixté Autumn / Winter 2012 - WAR in W Space, Graha Toorak, Jl. Kemang Timur Raya No. 998, on Friday 13 July 2012.
The collection is inspired by the series of photography by Evelyn Pritt entitled "Ocean Waves". By showing colors of blue, black, and white for the print, it reminds us how raw and pure ocean is. The word "war" refers to a darker feeling, something that Nina Nikicio, the creative director, always wanted for.
Nikicio always try to bring something new for every collection. They have done digital prints since their spring collection last year and this time, they took it a notch by doing it on leather. Nikicio also chose finer fabrics, such as cashmere for jackets, and cotton silk for dresses, as Mixte, their premium line.
