23 February 2013, EX (Entertainment Center) Jakarta presented the latest collections of some young local designers Indonesia titled in a fashion show titled "Marvelous EX 9 TRUNK SHOW". This fashion show held as the continue of a series of events to celebrate EX 9th anniversary.
Marvelous EX 9 TRUNK SHOW had 3 sessions. In the first session, three leading indie labels; Hunting Fields, Major Minor, and Cotton Ink showed their latest collection. The indie label winning Most Innovative Local Brand in CLEO Fashion Awards at Jakarta Fashion Week 2008, Hunting Fields presented simple designs of Himalayas printed, with strong and feminine character, entitled "Unbounded". Major Minor showed a row of attractive collection in bright colors and modern silhouettes by a combination of light and comfortable material. Cotton Ink and their collection themed "Global Sailor", apply the same stripes motif combined with striated fabric; that is also inspired by ikat cloth and presented in a modern, minimalist silhouette.
In the second session, Fashion Xchange, a concept store at EX 2nd floor displayed a collection of Spring / Summer 2013 of 3D by Tri Handoko & Dave Hendrik, Newfangled by Ichwan Thoha and No.om | No.mi | Soe.hoe by Soetjipto Hoeijaja. By adapting the dramatic baroque style and full of detail, a collection of Ciel also looks very attractive.The third session, PROJECT ONE, a multi brand stores consist of KLE, Danjyo Hiyoji, Silla, Geulis, Monday To Sunday, Kaligula, and the House of Jealouxy, was opened by the performance of Ayushita and visual mapping by visual artist Ricky Janitras. Project One also featured a collection of Spring / Summer 2013 owned by Danjyo Hiyoji themed "asymmetry", KLE with the concept of "Idyllic World", Monday to Sunday inspired by young and reckless souls, House of Jealouxy themed "The Knights, The Witches and The Lovers".
