BrightSpot Market 2011

The beginning of the month is most comfortable to shop. The 28th  April was special for me, where I could spend my one-month salary for one day! That was because of the second year anniversary of Brightspot Market. If the first year anniversary was previously held in Plaza Indonesia, this time it was located on the 1st floor of Pacific Place.

i like all of the shirts here, too

Brightspot Market is a unique retail concept that was held several months in different locations. Brightspot Market is held to collect artists and local and international designers to show their signature styles. The goods sold in the bazaar are their innovative and original products. Unlike other fairs, all goods sold in Brightspot Market  are unique. They are rarely sold in other places.

I was looking for a birthday gift for my boyfriend there. I was looking for Cotton-Ink once I arrived there. I bought three pieces; Summer Blouse Peach, Victoria Beige and Black and Wafer Light Grey Cardi.
Cotton Ink become one booth attracted quite a lot of visitors. That booth sold clothing for women looked very crowded and there was a long line in front of the cashier. I am a fan of this local fashion brand. They create unique designs, good quality materials in affordable prices.

There were about 90 brands in this event in the form of clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories, home furnishings, books, stasionery, until the food. I could find renowned fashion line, such as Nikicio, Cotton Ink, Seba Shoes, Satcas, Danjyo-Hyoji and Petite Cupcakes, Avanava, Paper Dolls, Geulis, Monday to Sunday, Coloriot, and Sash by Satcas. There are also 'newcomers' like Noonio, Voyage and Cyclo Rocket. Almost 90% of the area is filled with local brands, and 10% of participants from overseas from Singapore and the United States. The event was also being entertained with music from DJ at night.

Brightspot Market only lasted for four days, starting from 28th  April - to 1st  May 2011. The first day was opened for invitation only and the last three days were opened for public. I was excited being able to come for the opening party. it was crowded, but the collections were still complete.

me, tired but excited
